THE RICH BREWING HISTORY OF ‘T SCHAECKBERD

In the shadow of the magnificent Lierse Town Hall, our venue shines in all its glory. Constant is accommodated in ‘t Schaeckberd, a historic building that served as a brewery in the 15th century, which soon grew into a prestigious establishment in “the Brewery Street”.

Today, we are reviving that rich tradition. Constant not only provides an exclusive meeting place for business guests, but also brings a piece of brewing history back to life. In the basement of the former coffee roastery next to our premises, we have housed our private brewing lab, where we create unique beers with passion and precision.

We proudly honour the craft roots of this location, as for some time now, brewing has returned to the Brewery Street

BLACK ENGINE

One sip of Black Engine and the smell of fresh coffee takes you back to those cozy Sunday mornings, with the sound of laughter at the breakfast table and family stories shared over warm mugs…

At Constant, we cherish the past while creating new traditions. That’s why we proudly developed Black Engine, an exclusive schwarzbier, brewed with passion by Liesbeth Schwartz, owner of Constant.

Inspired by the rich building history of the property and the former coffee roastery next door, Black Engine is a journey through time and tradition with a deep connection to family history.

Lis grew up in a warm nest of chemical engineers, nurtured by parents who taught her to dream big. With science in her DNA and tradition in her heart, she found a way to combine precision and passion into something extraordinary.

The result? A beer as refined and powerful as the stories it tells!

ROSA DI LEDO

Pour yourself a Rosa and taste summer in your glass. This Hibiscus Saison immediately transports you to balmy summer evenings, when the sky turns soft pink and the city comes alive.

Liesbeth drew inspiration for this beer from both the present and the past of our beautiful city, Lier.

Rosa Di Ledo is brewed with love and craftsmanship and refers to a turbulent moment in the 16th century, when the city was still under Spanish occupation. Yet this beer not only represents the struggle that was fought at that time, but also beauty, resilience, and solidarity.

The label features a beating heart with the winding Nete river as its aorta. Surrounded by symbolic flowers that recall the history of a city touched by war, but always hopeful.

With Rosa, we invite you to slow down, connect, and enjoy every moment. It is a refined beer that brings the past and present together in your glass and transports you to those blissful summer evenings when time seems to stand still.
