As the sun sets below the skyline of Lier, painting the sky in soft shades of pink, the city starts to glow. Laughter fills the terraces, glasses clink in celebration, and the warm evening breeze carries the scent of summer. Do you know that feeling? When the day slows down and the city is bathed in warm light… that’s the moment for Rosa Di Ledo. A beer that captures the magic of golden sunsets, long conversations, and the simple joy of being together.

With this Rosa, we invite you to explore the heart of Lier. A city rich in history and blooming with life. Inspired by its rich past and vibrant present, this hibiscus Saison is a tribute to the beauty and resilience that define Lier, characterized by the red color of hibiscus & peppered by seasonal herbs.

The name Rosa di Ledo, translated from Spanish as ‘The Rose of Lier’, refers to a dramatic chapter in the city’s history during the Spanish occupation in the 16th century.

Every sip tells a story

The label tells its own story: a heart, pulsating with life, whose aorta forms the Nete river that winds through the historical center. It is surrounded by flowers as a connection between the city and nature.

Those types of flowers color the past of Lier, a city that was severely affected during World War 1. Each flower has a meaning: red poppies, symbols of remembrance for the thousands of soldiers who died in Flanders Fields during World War I. Forget-me-nots, standing for loyalty and the bond between soldiers and their loved ones. And small daisies, often included in letters sent to soldiers at the front, as signs of hope and care.

Just like the petals of a hibiscus opening in the evening light, the stories of the past gently unfold into the present. Rosa di Ledo is not just another beer – it is a journey through time, where each sip reflects the heritage of Lier and celebrates the present. It is where tradition meets harmony, which is best tasted slowly, under a glowing summer sky.

So, pour yourself a glass, watch the pink foam dance on the rim of your glass, and let the taste of Rosa transport you to those laid-back summer evenings where time stands still, and everything feels just right.

Enjoy!
